I just had a look at one of his latest matches with TNA.. he looks awful. Wasted away and moving so slowly. Have his knees gone? It certainly looks like it.
I seem to remember him having a lot of trouble even when he was back in WWE/F. I think the whole Commissioner storyline he had was to give his knees a few months to recover while still being on screen.
They seem to take deteriorating/aging wrestlers, throw any respect out the window, and grind them down to nothing. Mick Foley is a good example. He could barely wrestle in the WWE and they knew it. No wonder he was moved to commentary instead.
He has no right to be in a ring at this point.
TNA doesn't care, as long as you're bankable, they'll run you down. I know most of these wrestlers are too proud to quit, or can't do anything else, but when you look like Kurt, maybe it's time to step back and get your body back to something that looks normal.
Got no respect for TNA at all.
His body was pretty much fucked even by the time he'd joined WWF. By the time he first won the title he was a wreck. I couldn't believe he'd resigned as an actual wrestler, he had a sweet deal on commentary, and he lost a lot of goodwill by jumping to TNA, basically for the money.
I'm not a fan of TNA either, I'm not majorly into wrestling now anyway, but I just don't like their setup at all, for pretty much the reasons you mentioned. Plus their storylines are DULL.
like Scott Steiner. It's horrendous that they'd need to do that, and they have to be so sneaky to keep people wrestling. Just let them work on storylines or appear in promos. Foleys going to end up in a wheelchair, and Kurt's massive arm veins will explode out his arm
According to the olympics he isn't cheating in a sport, as i presume these are legal steroids, just banned by Olympic weightlifting.
