I've just reported someone for using racially abusive language at a football game having done absolutely nothing about it at the time, so even though I'm confident I've done the right thing I feel like a cunt.

Where do you stand on telling tales? Have you ever done it, outside of the playground circa Year Four of primary school? Has any good or bad come from it? Make me feel better for a) being a tell-tale and b) starting such a shit thread.
