Yesterday I stumped up and bought an xbox 360 on along with COD4 and spent most of my evening going through prologue and half of act 1, no problem. Woke up today, had a bit of an itchy trigger finger so I open up the box and put the game in for a quick spin. Along comes my brother who goes and knocks the xbox flat on it's side and now my disk is scratched to fuck. I'm a bit behind on my consumer rights law so I just want to know where do I stand on this? Will I be able to take it back to shop and get it replaced, or will they tell me to do one because it's no fault of theres?
I've done some googling and there seem to be a fair number of people pissed off at this xbox 360 scratching issue, I'd thought they'd sorted this out in the new ones but apparently not. Is this a problem with ALL xbox 360s or just a lucky few? My old PS2 knew how to take a knock or two and I'm not sure if I can be bothered with a console that can't. Thanks.
