I have to get my hair cut tomorrow and a DIY job isnt enough, will probably spend about €25-€30
anything over twenty quid is well silly.
tried trimming my own last night. fucking disaster. looks likehttp://anonymousradioshow.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/donny_osmond_young.jpg
last time i got my hair cut, it cost a tenner. i normally diy anyway, totez cool
ALSO WTF SKELLY YOU CANT CUT OFF YOUR AFRO, MADNESS
I have to for my job, I went to a barbers before to get it cut and they fucked it up so bad that i had to shave it off.I am not going to get too much off mind.
doesn't really show cos my hair always looks shit. It does actually have a bit of shape in it this time though.
no matter where i go or what i ask for i end up looking the same though, a bit like amy from hollyoaks. I just do it in the holidays so nobody sees it until it gets back to normal.
I'm a girl with quite a short crop. If it goes wrong, it's not like I can just have it done again but a bit shorter. I've tried getting it done cheaper twice and both times were disasterous.
usually. I'm not complaining because sometimes I'll wait for months before getting it cut, £18 every few months isn't a great expense even for someone who's unemployed.
My hair's a heap of crap. Last time I went 8 months without a haircut though.
*blushes* How do you know about my amazing hair anyway?
Only cos it's a friend of my brother in law. If it was in a shop I'd want change from a tenner.
what you get done. usually £40-£100. the latter end of that price spectrum includes colour.
Home hairdressing ftw
oh yeah and a tenner, seems pretty standard.
£20 for just the cut though. Seems reasonable to me.
The only haircut you can get in my town is 2blade all around basically, so i am going to fork out the money just so its done right.Last time wasnt too happy with it to say the least.
"any man with long hair who doesn't have the means to cut it on the cheap is a nonce"
If you have long hair it will invariably cost more, those are the rules I'm afraid.
you knew what I meant, cheeky scoundrel :D
What is this? 1994?
For a cut, on the cheap day with KELLY doing it. My hair always looks rubbish, maybe it's cos I only pay fifteen quid for a SPECIAL CUT and trim it absentmindedly at home whenever someone leaves the scissors lying about.
I could never go near my own hair with a pair of scissors, it sounds scary :(
Mirrors, I know, but you'd have to be VERY coordinated. I can sort of imagine trimming the fringe, maybe putting the layers back through the top, if I was told what I was doing, but the whole cut... no way.
with my coordination I'd end up resembling some kind of troll like creature, there'd be blood, sweat and oh so many tears.
I know what my nightmare tonight is going to involve, scissors and lots of them.
most expensive £6.50
anything approaching a tenner is ridiculous and anything more is outright robbery
It used to be £4.50 from John's Barbers, and you got a free feel of his nutsack if you forgot to tuck your elbows in.
that it took him a full minute or so to find a pair of scissors.
I ended up feeling like the ponciest of all metrosexuals for not getting 'grade 4 (or under) all over'.
I just shrugged, and said "whatever you think is best."
It looked shit.
it would have been about 5, but i'd made such a mess of my hair that she had a lot to sort out :\
Usually its around £7.50
But I had a haircut in leicester at some dodgy indian place, it was cut by some guy with dreadlocks and a skull-shirt. It cost £3.50. It was a pretty good haircut.
Which is the fixed price at my barber (which most barbers have). £6.50 for over 18s, £5 for under 18s, £3 for OAPs. If I especially like a particular cut, I'll give him a tenner and say "Take £7". As said before, a man paying more than £10 is crazy. It's ridiculous that people go to designer hairdressers and argue "But I want my hair cut in a particular style", as if a barber is a gorilla with a razor who just gives you a buzzcut whether you want one or not.
but I went nuts and went to this awesome place and paid £23, any barbers who give you a beer whilst you get your hair cut and play Gary Numan deserve my money.
but that was over a year ago.
I was already wondering if I should get it cut on the way home tonight, and I think you might be talking about the place I was thinking of going to. Is it the wacky barber or summat?
I pay 11.5€, more a less 10£.
last time I came out looking like frankenstein, still tiped them for some reason
have a number 2 all over.
I never tip
I honestly have no idea why they stick that 50p on. Just makes it a bit of bother for everyone involved. Anyway, I only go if the fat girl is working. The man just talks about cycling and gave me a shitty haircut.
Never let your mum cut your hair...
Was meant to be here <<<
(I'm new to this lark)
