Is it worth paying an extra 90 quid for a 32Gb model rather than a 16Gb model? How much space do iApps typically take up?

I'm thinking of getting a 24-Month contract @ £34.26 a month which is really reasonable as it includes 600 mins, 500 texts, and unlimited data & wifi!

16Gb would be 87 quid and the 32Gb would be 175 quid.
