When someone goes abroad and brings back foreign sweets and confectionary it is somehow more exotic.
A lady in the office has just come back from Canada so I'm currently eating an 'Oh Henry' which is like a formerly-named Marathon bar. There are also some 'Milk Duds' in the fridge (chocolate coated caramels).
However when aforementioned confectionary is bought here it doesn't seem as good - see Oreos.
Any other examples?
