I knew Canadians weren't to be trusted. Just LOOK at this slop
Except they used cheddar rather than curd.
I've eaten it many a time.
Not with curds though. That seems a bit strange.
(This thread was just a vehicle for that line. Everybody out now plz)
KROPPKAKA - you'd think it would be impossible to taste worse than it sounds, but onion, mince and bacon potato dumplings served with jam and butter...
A dish that can be a dessert or a main course:
The dish is called Germknödel in Austrian German or kynuté knedlíky (Czech) is an Austrian, Southern German and Bohemian sweet bread. It is served both as a dessert or, typically on fridays in catholic regions, as a main course.
Plum dumplings are fantastic, and poppy seeds make almost everything better.
It's what my French friends say, though rather whey.
"Weah" is a different sound. A horrible sound.
Pronounced kinda like "yeah" but with a W. It's all-around just the general shorthand sound I use to sum up everything that's wrong with the Québécois accent. EAH EAH EAH. Found in multiple words. Sometimes I accidentally say "peahn" myself because I have a Canadian stepdad. Shudder.
is actually quite nice. Even with curds.
i don't really see what's so strange about it, apart from its strange deliciousness.
Nope, having read that, I don't think there's any comparison. CURDS
