asking a girl out advice

ardack [Edit] [Delete] 14:49, 7 August '09

erm, this is a weird one.

through my extra curricular work responsibilities, I have to go and visit the charities we support from time to time, to discuss funding, support and all the other boring corporate stuff.

anyway, i went to go and visit one a couple of days ago, and really fancy our 'corporate liason' person over there.

i think she's really pretty, and she seems absolutely lovely, and on top of that she works for a childrens hospice. i just need to find out she's an amazing manga artist and that she plays a dozen instruments and she's my perfect woman.

i'm actually doing a lot of things to help them out (not doing it for a date, but actually cos they're an awesome charity), and sent her an update mail earlier, and kinda said that we should meet up in the next month so we can discuss all the stuff I'm helping out with.

However, does that sound like I'm asking her on a date? I'm actually not, although I do actually really like her and would like to see her again.
How can I even broach the subject of asking her out?

Obviously, I'm completely disregarding any conflicts of interest etc.

I really really hope she doesn't read DiS, cos otherwise I'm just coming across as a completely saddo
