good aids or bad aids?
and when you gave blood you would get a pint of guinness as a reward for being sober prior to giving blood, dont think that happens anymore.
this was not suposed to be here,
I keep meaning to do this but never get round to it, i'm a shit. Just fucking do it already.
the warm feeling is ace
I love giving blood. They come in and do it at work every few months. It's great. You get a good hour away from your desk, a free cup of tea, and a biscuit or 2, and you get to read articles in magazines you'd never ever read - last time I read about some native mexican tribe who are amazing at long distance running.
Why not join the organ donor register whilst you're in the giving mood? You can do it online.
They always make a fuss about giving me a transfusion though.
Then I collapsed in the pub. Bit embarrassing.
Cause, I could see that being a bit embarrassing.
Not that I felt drunk at all, but none of the strangers around me were to know that. Luckily I still had the plaster on my arm so the barmaid didn't kick me out!
They come round near work all the time but they won't let me cos i've had a transfusion since 1984 or something. They posted me this huge document explaining why but I forget what it said. Maybe I will give people mad cow disease with my blood I think that might be it
and my arm feels like it's gonna fall off.
when i went to give blood i was the only one in the room who didn't faint and i felt ROCK.
i dont think id be able to though, im anemic, plus my low blood pressure would mean it would take forever :(
Not that I'm disappointed, every time I've had a blood test I've felt queasy and have been close to fainting. I can't handle blood leaving me, my body rebels.
pressed enter far too quick there.
I like when they test your iron content by dropping it in the solution and it must reach the bottom in 15 seconds, I feel like cheering it on.
Currently can't give blood as I have had a recent tattoo.
