I can't think of a proper term for this, but games like Spin The Bottle, Ten Fingers, Chicken Or Go--what are others?
What on earth are Ten Fingers and Chicken Or Go?
would necessitate a Value Bucket which brings us neatly back to KFC.
where jokers are wild and 10s count triple if played after a club.
Ten Fingers - Everyone sits in a circle and holds up their hands, all fingers up, to start. You go around in the circle, each taking turns stating something you haven't done. Anyone who *has* done what the speaker hasn't done has to put a finger down. Whoever has all their fingers down last wins.
So, for example, you could say something as simple as "I have never been to Russia," but it's a lot more fun to specifically own certain people of whose exploits you know, with statements like "I have never fucked someone in the back of such and such other person's car." This game is great for amusing discoveries. I haven't actually played it since high school, sadly.
Chicken Or Go - One person challenges another person to this game by saying "chicken or go?" and the other person responds with either "chicken" or "go". "Chicken" means that's it, I'm out, I forfeit, and "go" means go forward, advance the game. (The challenger can also drop out at any point by stating "chicken".) And the game is making physical advances on the other person in front of the rest of the group.
So basically, the challenger starts by putting their hand on the other player's knee or waist and advances it up to more nerve-wracking locations, leans in gradually (chicken or go-ing all the while) for a kiss, maybe actually kisses, that's as far as I've seen it go. Most amusing when played between two guy friends. Most fun when you're being challenged by someone you don't mind kissing you. I only learnt of this game last night.
Is that when you have a sudden change of heart whilst waiting in line at KFC?
and you have access to a lecture room or something, then real person guess who, pick someone, other person makes guesses, everyone else slumps over and puts their heads on their desk when they are eliminated, could end up a bit offensive though
Would've struggled on my computing degree though.
"Is your person female?"
*Everyone slumps over, expect Maria, the German exchange student.*
if you want to sound old-fashioned
More like Turban spotting, only with snooker values applied to each colour. I played this for about ten minutes once. It was a bit shit.
- The moon is round, it has 2 eyes, a nose and a mouth.
- I pass these scissors to you open/closed.
- cereal box game.
stiff as a board!
at my elementary school, we called this one "heads up seven up."
holding up seven fingers either. it makes no sense.
Or at least, that's how we did it. And then once they've all gone around and pushed a thumb down, the teacher or one of them says "heads up [seven up?]". Hence the heads up.
i was sitting here wracking my brains over how that game is played. it's been a few years, heh.
