Conspiracy Theorists
I wouldn't mind if they stuck to one single event and devoted their efforts and skepticism to that but instead they tend to reel off a long list of alleged Machiavellianism that instantly wipes out anything resembling credibility; they're more into the romantic idea of a sinister government deceiving it's gullible nation rather than actually finding out the truth. I work with a lad who believes that:
Swine flu doesn't exist, it was conjured up by the government to distract us from the world recession.
AIDS was created artificially by racist Americans in an attempt to kill all black people, only it mutated and became a threat to every race.
The microchip is alien technology. Computers only exist because of the Roswell Incident in which the microchip was discovered amongst the debris.
The Moon Landing didn't happen; it was filmed in a studio in London.
John F Kennedy was assasinated by the CIA because he was going to disclose secret information on known alien activity and crash sites on Earth. Ronald Reagan merely got forced to resign for the same reasons.
He broadcasts these theories with such frightening volume and enthusiasm that you feel scared to laugh and question him about them. You just sit there feeling uncomfortable exchanging awkward glances with people and thinking about at what point in his life did this man turn into a complete plantpot.
