I remember thinking that sophie's world was nice, but not really being sure that it's a great story. Although that was a while ago now.
The book i am trying to get through at the moment is 'To Esme With Love And Squalor', a collection of short stories by j.d. salinger. A lot of them seem to relate to notions of childhood and growing up and can be very touching.
