Most managers started their careers as footballers, and are therefore idiots by default.
before they are allowed to hold any sort of opinion on it
to be allowed to hold such an opinion
kindly rescind it
John Obi Mikel
Too injury prone though
Maybe cos he's always injured.
Are you insane? Absolute quality.
Spurs are a better team with him in the side.
is it a stat that shows we lose more than we win when jj's in the team. Does this include all of last season when we lost more than we won full stop to begin with? He's fairly divisive amongst spurs fans but ultimately there's no-one as consistently effective in that role. I'd love thudd to step up but he hasn't yet, especially away from home. Zokora threatened to but fell short also.
What role? What role does he play?! HE DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. Spurs won 31% of their PL games with Jenas in the side over the last two seasons compared to 40% without him.
alongside a holding player such as Palacios. Granted, he flatters to deceive, and we should really have someone better there, but saying he doesn't do anything shows you've not really watched Spurs much over the past couple of seasons. Who would you rather have there (from the current squad)?
5 years at Newcastle told me so.
Except I loved him.
As you were.
Carlton Palmer was brilliant. An absolute dynamo.
He was also British junior hopscotch champion at the age of 10. True story.
and he went "SSSSSSSSSSHHH!" in it.
I liked it. Career highlight.
He just needs a manager to tell him to stop running around like a headless chicken
if he slowed down 10% he would be ace.
he will own the Spanish league.
manager's don't rate him high enough, doesn't fit in this example.
although I think he is ok.
Abou Diaby? (I think he is ok too)
I've grown to accept that Denilson won't ever be the player he threatened to become.
Apart from when they are obviously great like Makelele or Mascherano.
literally most overrated goalkeeper ever.
is quality. I won't hear or see a word against him.
it's just he never seems to be discussed at all!
That I agree with. Unsung or underated would be an apt description.
one of the most underrated players of last season. I'd like to see him considered for England at some point but I doubt it will happen.
I love Ibra but a load of self appointed 'experts' all feel he's the most overrated thing ever. Still, most managers rightly believe him to be a top player who can turn a game.
who can turn a game that is of little to no importance at the highest level.
he has failed to deliver. Inter must be laughing all the way to the bank with their deal.
Scored the only goal, won it for Barca.
I think he gets a lot of stick for not scoring for Sweden in their big matches too. Think he went two years without scoring for Sweden until he scored against Greece in Euro '08.
so much determination and passion, he was a real hardworker.
Championship for not, he's been the heartbeat of our team.
Poor at the Euro 2008 Championships but on club level he's quite the goalscorer.
Shaun Wright Phillips? Surely????
BENJANI - SURELY?
except i love him oc.
Until last xmas-John O'Shea and Darren Fletcher
watched him at Colchester for years, he bossed league one, obviously not a premiership standard player but still decent enough.
but since he's joined us, he's been brilliant.
