Where's my fucking pay rise? I might ask for one today. You've inspired me.
and then her maternity pay got based on the three-month period which included the month with the backdated pay rise. so her maternity pay was about 25% more than it would have been otherwise!
I'm getting ever more pessimistic about the odds of getting a rise in September, even though I should do.
had 1 pay rise of 1.2% in my 2 years, 8 months and 18 days here.
I note our company hasn't scheduled a meeting this month to tell us how are finances are doing. Oh dear.
luckily I get quite a 'generous' displacement ex gratia payment on top of the statutory.
they're open about how we're doing. Although with the size of the company and the fact we've been all over the media in the last few weeks, it'd be hard to keep quiet. Not all doom and gloom, but it's hard to be positive about it.

I got a letter from Natwest this morning telling me my interest free overdraft was being cut by half. FML
Or cutting the amount that's interest free?
I'm moving in with Fox in 2 weeks, all the money I save is going on my overdraft - I want it gone so they can't paste me by taking it away at a moment's notice
i'll be getting what should be my largest ever pay packet this month, with taking into account being promoted since 22nd June, plus 15 hours overtime.
i always love January too, cause they finally sort out the backdated pay from when it should go up in July each year.
I had a thwacking backdated rise paid last week too. I've been going shopping crazy. YEAH!
But it's backdated to APRIL

and they FINNALY sorted out my tax code so I got a Tax rebate from a previous BR tax code (10months like that) to look forward to next month too, with my bonus too

If I got paid the wrong amount in 2008, I should get the corresponding pay rise belonging to 2008, shouldn't I?

it made me go all weak when i realised how much my raises amounted to in the last 2 years.
In which time my salary increased 56%
We had pay reviews every 3 months, performance related, max £2k rise each time.
