So, the world is pretty cool.
I'm one week into my journey across the continent, and having a blast.
So far, I've;
Made 60 Euros from Busking, 40 of which was an amazing on a boat/bus in Venice. 5 of which was from a very, very strange Italian man in Florence, who saw it fit to sit beside us, give us cigarettes, and ask us to play songs we didn't know by The Doors. He then stared my friend in the eye and repeated the same, dark, obscure lines of Italian to him until he walked away into the night. Big up!
I've walked 30 miles of the perimeter of the lake in Zürich. Pretty big lake. Definitely didn't expect it to take me 11 hours, and to get massively, massively sunburnt. My feet hurt.
I've slept rough twice, once in Venice in a park, to be awoken at 6.30 by a man who wanted to water his flowers, so we crashed in the street like good Venecian bums. Then the other night in Zürich under a bush. It was a good bush. In fact, it was SO good that they guarded the area with men with big torches, and dogs with big teeth, so I legged it pretty fast, leaving my sleeping bag under the bush. Bad/good times.
I then wandered around Zürich, watching the forked lightning behind the mountains in the distance. Maybe the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
I`ve gone 2 days without eating. The first thing I had was a twix.
I've sat in a huge square in Venice, singing loud songs to about 40 people, all sat in a big crowd around us. Namely a very amazing Spanish man called Rob, and a guy from Birmingham called 'Simba'. We got stopped by the Po-Po at 4 or so.
And now I'm sat drinking a beer in Düsseldorf at my Godfather's house. He bought me a 300g steak last night and my clothes, which smelt like dying olives, are in the wash.
Having a ball. Hope you're all quality. Big up to you all!
