...apparently. Why the fuck not?
possibly? I know the first release didn't come out imax style in Glasgow cos they would've lost money. I enjoyed watching the original release cos it was kinda like reading the comic on a big screen, but it wasn't that good. They pandered to the nerds too much on that one. Should have actually tried making it into a good film instead of being true/faithful to the comic
I think that about every novel adaptation I've seen. SEE MY BLOG FOR MORE (Y)
but I thought the above as soon as I came out of the moovie theatre honest. That's ezactly what i'm trying to say though.
I remember being very disturbed by the film version of The Witches, I think they did a good job of that one. Haven't watched it for 10 years mind
But, ^ so that.
So I'll just buy the normal release.
I'm holding out on the chance that the directors cut would click and be good, the usual version left me extraordinarily cold on source material I love so much
And you could have watched it in a few installments, not like in the cinema (where it felt overlong)
Surely the extended Lord of the Rings films showed there is an appetite for such a version
the only directors cut should the one where someone cuts his throat, okay maybe thats a bit harsh, but FUCK YOU!
to me this sounds like a ploy to milk as much money as possible from it. release the regular version, people buy, 18 months down the line release the directors cut, people buy.
