totally love the film homages and last week's episode in a single shot :D
then put it on and forget the telly is even switched on and doing something else. Its been kind of a non entity for me unfortunatly, washed over like nothing has happened. I'm not big into films so dont see the film homages or owt like that. Pne day I might get a DVD and see it as something that was quite funny but right now I'm not seeing it at all and I'd probibly rather get my own copy of Darkplace.
You should give it a bash. I'm not really big on films either but can't recommend it highly enough.
Did no-one else think last night's episode was a bit duff? The serial killer song was really lame, and compared to last week there were hardly any JOKES in it.
and the Siamese ebayers ain't great but I don't let that bother me.
and done thought there were some very strong jokes (the mechanic and the clown car; "some day your prince will come.."; the blind chap talking through the door). But the tense/scary stuff really put a different angle on it. Freddy Fruitcake was excellent and horrible (and I winced when.. well, in the last bit of the last scene), calling the dwarf 'little mouse,' razorblades on the piano..
I liked the bit where they're sat around playing Happy Families, and Lomax comes in and goes ""Well, we can't just sit around here all day playing happy families."
Oh, and: "Fancy you, smearing the walls with your own excrement – you could have used Nutella."
it sounds cool. where can i watch this
i remember this now! its got dawn french in it! BBC3 or something i imagine. ill get it watched
