Anyone plowing Victoria Coren right now?
rings a bell, i heard it years ago, and it was to encourage positivism and proper learning of complexity and interrelationships.
I used to think this was rather significant and used to ponder the following
If you want to go back earlier consider Einsteins 'Everything is relative' (although this is traditionally only interpreted as a limited thing with regard to his theories,) he did mean it as a more widely philosophical life learning sort of thing, because that is how he managed to 'find' his 'discoveries' through taking the possibility that there were more connections/relations than we percieve on normal levels.....that stuff is not as distinct as we percieve, and the tendancy of much traditional knowledge, to increase the distinctness, by linguistic catagorisation, by seperating into 'disciplines' to study and be regarded experts in the SPECIFIC FIELDS, instead one should seek to become an expert in linking differend fields of knowledge, explore the lateral, make connections
