I think it's maybe just slightly above most people on here.
if someone other then yourself defended it
you can't be serious
You're just scared you'll find something to relate to.
jokes are cheapened infinitely when the punchlines are telegraphed, even moreso when they're straight up obvious. i am fully aware and accepting of my own uber nerdiness so i don't think i have an issue with suddenly becoming aware of it through watching the big bang theory. hell one of my favourite comedy tings is venture bros which basically requires a vast knowledge of comic books and old cartoons to get 3/4s of the jokes and that pervasive awareness of dorkiness doesn't stop me from loving it. big bang theory's just stupid, played out sitcom-for-dummies shit. its toe to toe with my family in the shit sitcoms league table
with the jokes strung together by uninspired plotlines.
hackneyed at best. an even more stillborn "How I Met Your Mother"
Its the best american sitcom in yonks! It has great characters and continuously hits the funny bone! Sheldon is right up there with Cartman, George Costanza and Rik from The Young Ones as a brilliant comic creation! All you naysayers, get to fuck!
Cartman and Rik are funny but not even in the same league.
Sheldon isn't even funny
and I don't know why, it's the sort of thing I usually hate but I'm addicted to it. Sheldon's wonderful!
it's depressingly unfunny. and indian guy and the one that looks like he was in galaxy quest can fuck right off too. everyone can except the girl that's blonde and would definetly get a gobble.
i used to go into work late just so i could watch it. and was livid when it was bumped for BB, livid.
One of about three shows I can bare to watch
Not as terrible as some people say it is, but a long way from being decent.
How I Met Your Mother, Third Rock From the Sun, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, Everybody Hates Chris, Happy Days, Two and a Half Men
Not As Good As:
Curb Your Enthusiasm, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Simpsons, Arrested Development
About As Good As:
Friends, Malcolm in the Middle, Married With Children, Roseanne, Mork & Mindy, Seinfeld, My Name Is Earl
It's really quite good, and Sheldon is a brilliant creation.
If you really don't like it, that's fine, don't worry about it, just find something that's more on your level, like maybe wanking into a shoe.
As good as Seinfeld?
Seinfeld in the same category as My Name is Earl and Married With Children?
your mother's rancid old cunt.
And I actually quite like Big Bang Theory.
What a divvy you are.
it reminds me of when my sister's pals come around and play dungeons and dragons - boring, overbearing and really stinks up your livingroom.
sound like physicist-themed-Pron?
Yeah, its defo just you.
well accepted way of writing a certain term to avoid getting a red light flashing in one's ICT monitoring office?
Its just you.
This has blown my mind.
The main guy is hopeless at acting, as is the lanky one who's supposed to be the scene stealer. The writing is crap as well. The little one with the bowl cut is the only one with a shred of comic talent.
Everyone who watches it should have been aborted.
so screw you all!
That's like giving cancer 'another go'.
OH ME, OH MY, SHE MAKES ME SIGH. drool central.
actually lol'd about twice. i surprised myself, even. the stereotypes they're using to get laughs are horribly under-developed and untrue but i would put forward an argument with long words because i'm a geek :(
not funny. Ive given at least 3 episodes a chance. I didnt laugh or raise a smile once. Maybe the yanks are just shit at producing good comedy nowadays. Its all witless comebacks on each other and a terrible laughter track
yer Frasiers, yer Seinfelds, yer Friends. Nothing on that scale of being massively popular and long-running AS WELL AS brilliant.
that American comedy dates really badly. Friends especially. I really want to punch Pheobe in the face. Come to think of it I wanted to punch her in the face then. Smelly cat. Not funny
it's like a Seinfeld rip-off with a better looking cast, only less funny. Phoebe was the worst anyway. Ross ftw.
just him gwtting more angry at stuff as his life sprials into decline
its nice enough, definitely doesnt deserve the hate it gets
it has never get more than a 'huh' type laugh out of me, where as sheldons antics have made me lol more than once
if someone i know likes it, i dont like them anymore
