Tower Hamlets Summer University (THSU) has reached the semi-finals of the National Lottery awards. It's against nine others in the Best Education Project category.

Here’s the spiel to persuade about what a great idea this is:

Strategically, this award could really help THSU promote the work they do at a national level, and as they're rolling the Summer Uni model into other areas outside of London, this could be a real boost to get their name out there, plus they'll also receive £2000. THSU provides free courses and opportunities for young people aged 11-25 year round. You can read more about the work they do by visiting www.summeruni.org.

If they make it to the finals, they get to go on TV and meet Dale Winton. WINNER.
