sign name below if someone in your office has swine flu:
This person sat right next to me too :-( I'm screwed, aren't I?
Don't think I have any symptoms so far.
as so many people in this area have got it, GPs don't want to know, so nobody with symptoms has been able to get tested. some of the people who are off sick probably have got it.
but it's all ok... they did a deep clean over the weekend. Crisis averted!
Or so the ginger one from harry potter said.
So please pass on my thanks to him.
as there was someone on his flight out suspected of having it.
will I be quarantined in China?
Can somebody ask the ginger Harry Potter kid for me?
it really isn't that different to normal flu, as ginger potter lad says. Anyone who gets it has a massive chance of being absolutely fine. Unless it continues mutating and becoming resilient to everything, in which case we could see a bit more seriousness. But I wouldn't worry too much at the moment. I'm no doctor, like, but the more people worry about it the more poorly you might get. It's fine. Just like normal flu. FOR THE TIME BEING...
my money's on mirri
But he doesn't work with me, and since he's an 'office of fair trading' weights and measures type bod (party pooper for short), I guess it's hard to classify him as a friend.
In the way that you can get swine flu and not know, you just feel a bit sniffly and hot flushed for a couple of days, I wonder if I didn't have a touch last week.
Actually, 'hope' is more accurate. Saves me panicking about missing festivals through being quarantined.
and iv'e probably got it too
because I coughed up something that made me cry and I have a fever and the shakes. He said it might be swine flu, it might not, but it's certainly a virus of sorts. He said everyone will get swine flu in the next few months and most gPs are hoping that the infected go out and breathe over everyone else to get it over and done with. I wish whoever it was that breathed on me had done it AFTER TiTP. *sob*
pregnant women and people with vulnerable health - they'd probably love to hear that GP's are telling people to go around and breathe on everyone
so they may as well get it now whilst it's a fairly innocuous strain. Not very reassuring, but he did stress to me that it's no worse than any of the winter flus we get (and not nearly as bad as the one we had 2 years ago- beijing flu, I think?)
there'll be vaccinations for the vulnerable. it seems really irresponsible
but tom__'s nextdoor neighbour has it.
i feel awful and have a stiff neck. it's been nice knowing you.
dibs on drownedinsound
and i touched her book. i then doused myself in antibacterial hand gel
oh wait...that could be taken the wrong way couldn't it? :/
but i don't work in an office it was just my friend. she said it wasn't that bad and then stole my cutlery and licked it so i could get it over and done with.
She's like a trainee midwife or something and thinks she's a doctor. I think I've just got regular flu. Either way I feel ROUGH
maybe you should go to the doctors.
or go sneeze on public transport tee hee hee.
Apparently Tamiflu just halts the symptoms for a day and just causes more nausea? I can't be arsed ringing my doctor.
wait are you coming to latitude? u have to get better for then. or am i getting you confused with someone else?
I bloody hope I'm better by then, it's a week away! I'll bottle one of my sneezes for you so you can join in the fun.
come near my pans and cutlery and you're a dead man. my ticket hasn't come yet
Last year I got mine 3 days before the festival, I wouldn't worry about it.
Who are you most looking forward to?
management forecast report predicts 30-40 cases with 2 fatalities.
