i saw this on BBC brekkie this morning (dunno why I was watching it), but apparently because the amount of single 30 yrs old people is going to rise by 30% (!) over the next 5 years, more and more people are gonig on holiday by yourself.

i can understand if you're backpacking etc, by just to laze about on a beach?

i feel lonely enough as it is without being in a new place and explaining to someone that there's no one in my life that I could go on holiday with
