Those scientists who've made sperm in Newcastle

DanielKelly [Edit] [Delete] 12:31, 8 July '09

Dunno why they're so impressed with themselves. I make tens of thousands of sperm (plural?) all the time without even the slighest effort.

Anyway, in a related question: how far is too far for you when it comes to advances in fertility treatment? Is there a 'too far' as far as you are concerned? Current law would prohibit the use of engineered sperm in male fertility treatment, but as the process is likelt to take at least 5 years to perfect that isn't a massive issue at the time being.

I'm erring towards this being too far and if I'm honest I'm not sure if it's more that the large amount of biological and hazardous waste, as well as the expense in terms of money, time and medical attention, concerns me or I'm just being all reactionary.
