It's taken a few years and a lot of weening, but I am now down to NO SUGAR in my tea.
I feel like a proper adult. You?
And I'm not even sorry.
Tried to cut down to 1 and a half but whats the point.
Good for you though unfamiliar, no doubt soon you'll be tying your own showlaces :)
Ohh I can do that. The list of things I should be able to do but cant at the moment are -
- cook rice
- put on a new duvet cover
- Iron shirts
- Fold shirts.
I feel, at 23, I have no hope learning these things. You?
And I am yungar than you. Sort your life out.
I'm growing plants and everything, I'm gonna make a thread about it when I've got some photos. Proper grown up.
It was ok, I am not a fan of rice but cooked it when cooking for the gf.
I am an expert ironer of all items and can change the duvet though I hate that job.
I am poor at DIY though and need to clean my windows.
Heat a small pan until it's very hot with a bit of oil in it. When starting to smoke measure out half a cup of rice per person and add it. Leave in oil for about a minute stirring so all rice is hot.
Add just-that-second boiled water at a quantity 1.5 times that of the rice. Eg. Half cup of rice, 3/4s cup of water.
It should bubble like mad. Give one swift stir and jam that lid on tight, reducing to the lowest heat going for however long that type of rice takes (basmati is 11 minutes). DO NOT REMOVE THE LID.
That there's the secret.
Hey presto, you have perfect rice. If you used a bit too little water some may stick to the base of the pan but not much. And better that than soggy puffy water logged rice.
that's far too complicated. Fuck a boil in the bag bag into some water... boil.
Boil plenty of water, put in a little salt, put required amount of rice in, drain when the rice is al dente. Eat.
Rice is the easiest thing in the world to cook - just don't buy shit rice.
I don't know who you are anymore
You can change my duvet cover and iron/fold my shirts if you like?
and I've never looked back. Its far more delicious without sugar. My housemate though insists on 2 sugars and that the tea bag is in the water for no longer than 10 seconds with absolutely no squeezing. Seriously, his tea looks like hot watery milk. AND, I found out recently that he has been using 1 teabag to make up to 3 cups of tea!!!! Madness. Sheer tea madness.
