it is fast becoming boring !
And I still have 6 weeks with a plaster cast...
What should I do ?
How did you snap it?
Do you get a wheelchair?
no wheelchair !
You picked the worst season to injure yourself mate
and probably one of the worse place to injure yourself too...
epic fail !
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot... (oh wait...)
Very nasty, hope you're back on your feet soon
Will be happy if I can walk quite normally in september (just to go back to work then !)
Most of the times, wife and kids are here.
A shame I can't even play with the kids anymore...
just feel like it's practice for playing with your grand kids!
even if it wasn't itchy before it'll be itchy when you read this
if you fancy a hobble
will be crowded as hell...
But in summer it's hell.
before you can settle in and enjoy the Ashes :o)
I'm guessing you won't care about this.
cricket isn't very big in France...
I didnt realise you were in France. I'm fairly new here y'see.
Seriously though, even thinking about snapping a tendon sends a shiver down my spine so I wish you a speedy recovery.
7 weeks of plaster
more than 4 weeks before walking (relatively) normally after...
Another 6/8 weeks before being able to run again...
it's very sunny here and i am just back from looking at new fish for my aquarium
my wife is forced to do anything at home...
...is fourth for the social board on the community page !
Must have been a really slow day !
And a first for me...
and while he was recovering, he fell down the stairs on his crutches and broke his back! Be careful not to do that.
"if you really have to, climb/descend stairs on your bottom."
I don't intend to try that...
It's not very dignified. I tried crawling up on my hands and knees instead but that's really a lot more difficult than you might think.
Thankfully I don't have to climb stairs...
It makes me feel a little sick every time I read it.
Probably not as bad as actually having it happen to you but still.
I'm not going to read the thread in case I pass out.
So no need to feel sick.
It tickles a lot but only after it has been repaired...
see how many rulers you can stick down the inside of your cast. Or pour rice in it. I move to Paris this week.
Paris is quite hot this days and the air is bad.
