and it was on someone 'in real life'. I didn't like it, it felt scary and weird.
I once had a peer who was the spitting image of Jason Orange, or at least in my eyes, and I had a massive crush on him.
I was in a position of influence over his future, and potentially heavily compromised.
Fortunately, due to my bosses efforts, rather than mine, we ended up working together restructuring the entire finance function, in advance of our businesses being sold off. In the end the company split in two, and he got a job identical to mine in the other half, partly from my personal help to him.
I think he knew that I cared for him, and even we had parted our separate ways, we kept in touch to help out each other's staff when redundancies took place.
I think my experience is quite common tbh.
