What went down?
for me personally a lot of soiling myself and enjoying the magic roundabout
I'm surprised you didn't read about it in the papers really
No, I remember it
The Intel Corporation shipped the first Pentium chips
I got bitten by my guineapig-Chesnut really badly where I now have a moonshaped scar. It went all retarded and pussy like a mashed up banana and I was given banana flavoured medicine for it. Slightly offputting.
a symbol of the strength of democracy
Where were you in 92?
I was listening to Altern 8 last night actually. I was probably doing that in 92. That and dreaming of being John Barnes.
in a 'rush for treats'
mainly I'm trying to come up with a solid 6/10 pun.
Were they treating or scaring kids?
That's very, very funny
And I stand by that assertion even though he's now in League Two somewhere.
was the height of sophistication for teenage boys.
and I listened to it a hell of a lot
and then got 1 stitch (ONE. why i now have a gross scar) and a tetanus injection. i also got to sleep indoors and people brought me hot chocolate.
The Family Cat
Frank & Walters

White Dog Poo
do you know the same big cheif as me? i doubt it. but i hope so.
I suppose their salad days were probably more 1992
where I crossed over from the pop into the indie, the cassette to the CD, Smash Hits to the NME.
The signs of growing up :(
Maybe it was midway through '93 and into '94 that THE CHANGE happened. The t-shirt under shirt era. The Doc Martens Period. Floppy Hair and Curtains Time.
it was called, "BOOM" and kicked off with boom boom shake the room.
please talk about big chief now.
That whole list is a list of bands. They released a single called One Born Every Minute on Sub Pop, from an album called Mack Avenue Skull Game, that I LOVED. It was on white vinyl 7". Me, Lard and Wib all bought it. We also all bought Songs About Chris by Eric's Trip and Gone To The Moon by the Fastbacks, all from Way Ahead in Derby. When Way Ahead was out the back of the Eagle Centre by Wilkos. You know. There.
they played on jazz fm once. i think.
a wonderful moment in nature
I used to own FOUR Levellers t-shirts. No man need reasonably own that many Levellers t-shirts.
be seeing the Levellers tomorrow.
(* fucking won't unless all of Leicester's buses simultaneously crash during the rush hour)
Like when the planes fell out of the sky on Millenium Eve...
At one point during 1994, I think I was sponsored by The Levellers for about three months. Thank FUCK we had to wear a school uniform, that's all I can say.
we need to break it to him gently that it's not 1994 anymore...
Unfortunately I was on my own at the time. Then I stole one of Monpot's beers from the fridge and fell over in the bathroom. In-keeping with pretty much most of my drinking experiences at that age.
You are an awful, awful man
in the 'LOOK AT ME LISTING THINGS FROM THE PAST I'M SO WACKY!' sense. I also kept some from the eighties that I sniffed when I needed a legal high.
