OK, so it turns out that Western Digital hard drives are shit and have a habit of breaking after 12 months, which wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t for the fact that it had all of my music on there. My itunes shows all of my songs as ‘not found’ so I can’t play them on my laptop, but it’s all fine on my iPod, so my question is... how do I get it from the iPod onto my new external hard drive? I’ve googled it and it seems like I may have to buy a tool that can do it for me, but I’d rather do it for free (obviously). Any suggestions?
