and the irish accent is rendered useless when you are actually in Ireland :(
wonderous journey for everyone son. If it was then excitement would become mundane!

you could sign up for medical experiments and stuff as well.
you know when they go in for the drug testing to get extra money, thusly get GIANT boners, go looking for wimminz, then they loose their boners, and are left awkwardly standing about?
well i hope that happens.
stuff in films is always happening to me.
even though I very nearly choked and died on it at one point
how're the post-birthday blues? feel old? you're never allowed listen to Teenage Kicks EVER AGAIN. (That's not true at all, but whatever...)
KNOCKED ME FOR SIX
my whole body has been aching today like, literally all over, but I think thats just a coincidence.
Going to the Co-Op and finding that they'd run out of Toffee Crisps. I was just about ready to bite someone's finger.
walking upstairs with a Toffee Crisp and feeling like my hand was unusually big only to find out it was actually just a tiny Toffee Crisp
I sat out in the sun today reading...not studying for my DAT like I should be. Then I made a spinach salad with peppercini's, feta, olives, etc--->was amazing and also made couscous to go with. My stomach is very happy right now. Now I'm sat outside trying to do financial stuff for loan applications for uni, but I think I'm going to work on editing my personal statement so I can submit my dental school app this week since I've been working on my app since June 1. Also, I appear to have a sunburn :(
I mean it pays well, but its boring! Teeth are boring! Intrestingly, the teeth are majorly aided in development by the neural crest cells that form the nervous system. Some guy proposed big teeth = big brain philosophy. Its wrong, but er, yeah.
So why dentistry?
Haha, I find dentistry really interesting actually. I've liked it since I was about 13 and have had amazing experiences both going to the dentist/shadowing/working for various dentists. I've helped fit temporary veneers/replace fillings. I really enjoy working with the patients a lot when it comes down to it. I'm not sure if I'm going to do general dentistry or specialize in pediatrics or something yet, but I enjoy all facets of what I've done. I think the field of medicine is too broad to suit my interests even though there's specialties--dentistry is just what I enjoy. I also think the stuff they're doing within the oral microbiology field is interesting even though I haven't read too much on it.
dentistry is the most competitive course to get into in the UK. Also could you shed some light on why dentists learn anatomy all the way down to the waist?
like your ears and back and what not?
Also, plaque formation on teeth if allowed to advance to periodontal disease can influence plaque formation in the arteries from stuff I've read.
removed with the aim of reducing lower back pain?
It's really competitive over here so I'm not completely confident I'll make it either way. I thought about applying to schools in the UK but it's extremely difficult to get in as an international student as it's so competitive so I'm planning on getting my degree over here then hopefully taking the board exam to transfer certification (I've done research on this). If I don't get in I'll have a BS degree in Microbiology and plenty of research hours to hopefully get employment somewhere or I might do the Peace Corps or something. If I don't get in I'd really like to find a job in the UK/Ireland though and see what happens from there. Not too sure why dentists learn anatomy all the way down to the waist, I suppose just because of how stuff relates? I know if I get in at one uni over here, there is a semester of neck-down anatomy and then a separate semester completely devoted to craniofacial anatomy.
Ah cool. I wish I could make descisions and start to view something I like as a potential career.
Oh well, Ill just wander the earth roaming, my dental hygeine being a secondary concern, and upon reassimilation to society, ill come visit you for some MAJOR dental work. Im talking hours here.
Last summer when I was working, a lady came in who hadn't been into the dentist in 6 years...she had this HUGE deposit of plaque that had calcified removed--it reeked.
I've got sunburn as well. Just a bit tho, on my neck. I have no idea how, sure it's sunny but it's hardly the Serengeti. I usually tan straight away. I'll have to lash on some Aloe Vera or something idk.
I don't want to be tan really. I used to be extremely tan believe it or not back in my lifeguarding days, I don't think it suited me. Lol. Aloe Vera=savior?
and he spoke VERY highly of it. That's all I'm basing it on. It's nice and cool anywho.
COOLEST THING EVER.
i gotta get me one of those. well, i'm off to the land of Nod for the night. Talk to ya soon ainsm.
Toffee Crisps are rubbish.
