Without a shadow of a doubt, the best Batman film by miles.

What a cast. Keaton is the only Batman. Christopher Walken, Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeifer.

The fact Batman actually kills the baddies is highly enjoyable, as is the way the film ends on such a bittersweet note.

I must admit, I haven't seen the most recent Batman film because I can't stand Christian Bale and I was put off with all the "OH MY GOD HEATH LEDGER IS THE BEST PERSON SINCE JESUS" bullshit.

Batman Returns is the best thing that ever happened to Batman.
