Sweet. Everyone knows CM 01/02 was the best manager game ever.
01/02 was much better than 00/01.
I remember playing 01/02 with my mate for the first time and just being "OH MY GOD"
this better work when i get home.
Bye bye summer.
Are all the teams in the right leagues etc?
apparently you have to burn it onto a cd before installing it though.
I have no technical expertise at all, someone at work forwarded it to me. Apologies if it is a duff link everyone.
i'm incredibly happy
I'm going to download the shit out of this when I get home.
Diablo tactic anyone
3-3-1-3 never fails
tonton zola moukoko was an epic fail at derby county as well.
I can't download anything at work, so haven't been able to check it. I was just forwarded the link, and as there has been discussion before on here about CM 01/02, I thought it would be of interest. And anyway, thought you didn't play football manager games anymore?
'The patch can be found on www.champman0102.co.uk along with all the other add ons such as data updates and background packs.
Just click on the "Downloads" section and you will find everything you need once you have installed the game.'
That game fucked up my GCSEs.
I used to spend whole English lessons sat at the back, drawing out formations, showing my best 11, listing new additions etc with my mate who was similarly addicted.
Best CM game ever in my opinion.
Didnt have to burn anything onto a CD-R either, just use Daemon Tools to mount the iso image to make it seem like there's a CD. And the patch and update worked fine as well. Flying through seasons brings back good memories.
and it crashed after my first season. I'd managed to sign Bojan on a free at Spoting Lisbon too.
Apparently there's something you have to tick/leave unticked before you start a new game or it fucks up.
I want to do it again, but can't face the devastation of losing another game.
You basically have to trick your computer that the CM CD is in your CD drive.
Daemon tools is a piece of software that provides a 'virtual CD drive' for you to put the .ISO file (in the download), so CM will run.
Simpler than it sounds anyway...
Can't get updates to work. I've installed the patch to get the game running the v.3.9.68 version but shit ain't working.
right-click on the toolbar icon, virtual CD > device 0 > mount image,
locate the .iso file you downloaded from sigame, select that.
It's now either autorun or you can go on my computer and then double click the CM "CD" and run the install.
That's the only thing i can think of, although there are probably plenty of other possibilities, try redownloading the file.
I've lost hours of my life to this game and I still keep getting fired halfway through the season whilst Wigan(?!) rule the top spot.
Thank Christ my girlfriend is a teacher. As soon as her school give her the laptop she's supposedly entitled to, I'm snathcing the old one and playing this all the live long day
from my time on a CM01-02 forum, do you mean I should've told you guys before now? Whoops ;)
For the best
I just started a new game on FM2006. So much quicker and easier to play than 09. But this is very tempting...
THREE INJURIES IN THE FIRST MINUTE?! Then an injury to my keeper in the 20th minute. LOLOLOLuninstall
am i doing anything wrong? i stayed up until 5am last night trying to get things sorted and things would not get sorted. i've uninstalled it and am currently re-installing it.
i got that ISO burner thing and got it to work that way. downloaded the patches, march 09 update, euro cfg, etc. Extracted them the champ man program files & replaced the original files. is there an order or something i'm supposed to extract them in?
keeps crashing / getting an error message when i'm trying to set it up. but then i dont really know what i should be doing when i set it up. do i select all the countries when it starts up?
i am so useless.
it's still stuck in 01/02. WHY?
i had to open the march 09 file in the editor, then overwrite the original data from there.
