I don't really understand this whole supposed disconnect between how people are on here and how they supposedly are in real life. Generally I assume that people who are sound on here are sound in real life. I also assume that people who are arrogant/aggressive/constantly snarky/stupidmarkedly thick/self-obsessed, or go out of their way to present a given persona reflecting these qualities are probably not actually alright in real-life.

Even if they are a bit different and "alright" in real-life, then it's hardly a good quality to be someone who would bother to go out of their way to be a twat on here, is it?
