I actually find the hatred people have for politicians really baffling now but I'm happy to have a doughnut.
I stll hate Hazel Blears though.
the latter is only suitable if Caroline Flint is visiting the office.
who have a bottle of bubbly just waiting for Maggie to pop her clogs.
Don't worry, I've told them
I'm sure my mum will be happy to see her dead but then she was part of the class of people Thatcher made poor and depressed with her policies.
There are people out there who claim they still want to beat the shit out of kids who bullied them at school. That's truly strange in my view.
They're all so bland. How is it possible for someone like Blears to be so hated?
Meanwhile, muggins eats Gregg's doughnuts.
HANG THEM ALL!
I couldn't give a shit about politicians but doughnuts are serious shit
WHAT KIND OF DOUGHNUTS!?
"we had a bottle of champagne. we waited...we waited...we waited...and micheal portillo lost his seat...WE OPENED IT!"
^ obviously better if you can hear me do the impression of him
Now I think he's a great guy, John Major too: they both seem like really progressive Conservatives, quite left-wing and honest types.
I'll agree with that.
I think Portillo had to relax a bit after the gay stuff came out.
to hear what portillo has to say on This Week, after Question Time. But, yeah, him getting ousted by Stephen Twigg was aces. Just looked him up - didn't realise he was voted out in '04. And that he was arrested in '05 for being "drunk and incapable in a public".
In 97, I prefered Major to Blair, by some margin. But I didn't like the shower of shites behind Major and I could never vote for a party headed by Blair. I was happy to go LibDem.
Major has since been outed as a cheating swine. Serious cred loss. Cheating on your wife is not cool. I mean: Edwina Curry! Eee gads.
While we're talking Major & co & general sliminess. Unbelievable to think that John Redwood challenged Major for the leadership in 95!
resignations appear to be done through gritted teeth, and with clenched fists. Not a single one of them who are apologising or 'giving back' has appeared to be remotely sincere or contrite or remorseful, just a feeling that they are feeling hard done by cos they're being spotlighted compared with others.
They are not showing genuine remorse........in a court of law, if it is judged that the defendant is not remorseful for their crime or genuinely realising that they did wrong, then the sentence is normally greater than if it is realised that the defendants perception has genuinely changed as a result of them having been found out and their actions examined.
Perhaps the ame should apply to those not showing sincerity in the cases of these MPs too? (of course i realise that this is impractical,
but i would at least like to see Paxman laying an accusationm at one if them along the lines of
"well you dont appear to be ashamed of what you did, so why are you paying back money/apologising/resigning?"
