Where's the cheapest place to book them? Is it always gonna be expedia / lastminute, or will spending hours and hours on the internet scouring every flight & hotel website actually get me a better deal? And does it usually work out cheaper to book hotels & flights together or to shop around for each? I am new to this 'booking a holiday' lark.

I know the exact dates & hotel I want & it's a little island off Naples [Ischia], so easyjet's £15.99 to Alicante deal isn't gonna help me and travelsupermarket doesn't have it. :(
