but then I thought you can't have one without the other, not really. I love them both, equally...ish.
cos Joe takes much more of a backseat doesn't he.
Two of my best friends are called Adam and Joe...in that scenario Joe is most definitely the favourite.
Well, that and the Obama speech.
"It's a falcon, Richard..."
I've watched that channel all through so many times. The Radiohead one is so clever too.
Joe's making a film btw:
but it's got to be adam
I remember Joe was on Nevermind the Buzzcocks once and he was mocked by Lamaar for not saying anything funny.
I'm going to go for Joe. His (sometimes manic) persona on the A&J show was brilliant, 15% free! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs3w7BbCB-0
plus he did this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5T5rc71qGQ
Definately. In the podcasts Joe does all the good stuff.
Although in recent weeks they have been slipping into doing a bit too much 'sexy-talk' double entendre.
Adam seems to take a while to come up with stuff, hence all the youtube stuff being his strongpoint. I havent listened to any of the shows since the one I was at. Haven't had any internets :(
I missed it though. Was on tea making duties.
Was it fun? Did you get anything from the experience to prove you're a member of Black Squadron Elite?
It was amazing. There was a free breakfast buffet. we got some Stephen! T Shirts and a mug. :)
Oh and there's photo's of all of us on the website too.
Joe is a Giant. Adam is the nicest man in ever.
I've been to one, and was in the bar just after another of his finished with him and BaaadDad mere inches away. We should go.
My mate Lauren spent the whole night with proper celeb vicinity paralysis.
the paralysis thing happened to be just about when I had the mic shoved in my face.
Adam Buxton is the perfect host for this event and is always so funny. Him reading out the youtube comments to the music videos is brill. He has such good comic timing.
I'm going to Bug tomorrow and I can't wait.
whenever I go there are always empty seats and sometimes you can get tickets at the door. I think Adam always mentions this on his blog... Depends if you can be arsed to go to the BFI tomorrow for the possible chance of getting a ticket.
Joe is more of a straight man.
but as someone else said, they're really best when they're together. When Garth Jennings stood in for Joe there was a really noticeable drop in LULZ. Without Joe Adam can come across as a bit twatty and annoying, and without Adam Joe can seem too reserved and dull.
It's like pasta and pesto. Bit boring on their own, but together they're a winning combo.
where did you get that delightful clock?
Yeah, deffo Joe*
*I'm mainly putting this because he'll be reading this having googled himself again and now he might invite me on the show. HI JOE! XXX
Camping with yoshi
This will definately get seen.
where he was using loads of really cliched dialogue like "Can someone please tell me what the HELL is going on?" and I think I laughed at it more than I've laughed at anything on their radio show ever.
But Adam has a much nicer voice
