it's just come to my attention that i haven't used an iron this year
I don't understand the point. I think it's a generational thing that will die out. I guess for shirts there is a point but not for pants, socks, T-shirts etc.
How do you not iron?
next time will be for a wedding. The only other time would be for an interview.
Ironing is shit. Hang your wet clothes up immediately.
above about hanging clothes up as soon as they come out the washing machine and now my days are iron free.
my normal (casual cotton and plaid) shirts i hang and it's fine but i have a fancy shirt that i'm pulling on now for a job interview and this deserves ironing
If you don't they immediately start smelling like digestive biscuits.
they don't go frowsty that quickly unless you let the air hit them but they will get creased.
Yeah FROWSTY! WOOOOOOO!
That's what the 'leave the water in' setting's for.
My mum likes that setting. She also likes flooding the kitchen floor and the two are related.
Once or twice a week. In or when it’s raining out, I iron clothes when they’ve been washed and hang them to dry. Mainly shirts and t-shirts. That way they dry quicker and uncreased.
If dry out, they go on the line and get ironed when they come in.
I'm the office tramp
I don't buy clothes that need ironing, or I have a few but for special occasions.
However, I actually enjoy ironing
work shirts / trousers and t-shirts if they dry creased. If you work in a place where the dress code demands that you wear a smart shirt then you can't really avoid it. And if you wear an un-ironed, creased shirt to work, then you're probably a scumbag who eats discarded pizza crusts out of bins.
She wasn't impressed and I've never bothered since.
The fallacy of correlation implying causation has blocked your cock. Sad times. But intriguing from a meta-relational interpersonal dynamics perspective.
And I can honestly say I doubt I'd have had any more sex than I have if I'd ironed a shirt over the past 9 years.
Is that right? (I am giving a meaningful look)
generally the creases will come out as i wear an item.
or some skirts where the pleats need to be ironed.
I find most cloths sort themselves out once theyve been worn for a bit, sometimes I hang stuff up in the bathroom as i've heard steam sorts things out with mixed results
