My first Tuesday football thread
Sorry to anyone else doing one, but I'm already bored at work.
In the Premier League, Portsmouth come back from 1-0 down (within 30 seconds) to win 3-1 at home to Sunderland. The result means it's two from four sides, all in the North-East, for the relegation spots at the weekend. David James missed out with a shoulder injury that will prevent him playing for England in June - we'll hopefully finally get to see someone else step up to the plate.
David Bentley threatens to leave Tottenham - Redknapp doesn't seem too bothered.
Juventus sack Claudio Ranieri while Tony Parkes has left Blackpool after a decent spell in charge over the second half of the season.
Further down, money woes countinue...
In League 2, Darlington are rumoured to be sending out P45s to their entire staff and could be wound up by the end of the week while relegated Chester entered administration over the weekend and will start the new season on at least -10 points.
Elsewhere, Northwich Victoria enter administration for the second time in five years, while 'debt free' AFC Hornchurch (Karl Williams, 2009) apply for administration. They've not even existed for five years yet.
Any more?
