I know its really controversial for so-called secular Britain to talk about the existence of God, but I've just been thinking that maybe atheism cannot explain the beauty of our world.
Plus, I don't see how atheism can provide morals for the modern world in which we live. Today as walking to get some fags and cans (I know, drinking this early, I've just been really stressed), these 12 year olds called me a cunt and I thought, yeah, I mean, the younger generation have no moral guidelines without a religious one and that's why society is breaking down. It used to be that God provided people like my grandparents strength during the hard times. How could we have soul, how could lives be worth anything without some eternal being? I am not saying that the Bible is right, just that it raises some question about our so-called modern life. Is this really all that can be?
Don't want this thread to be a huge controversy, just feel like most of you probably don't think about this. I used to not either, I guess I was narrow-minded. just speaking my mind...
