my nana isn't even that old.
i dont think my gran is 67 yet either
us > this kid in the news
mind you, my nana might just be young because i live in the TEENAGE PREGNANCY CAPITAL OF EUROPE.
nah, but really, that's crazy. what if she gets loads of old people type diseases and the kid has to help look after her and stuff
I'd say she could afford home help and stuff
I'd also say the wee man won't have much of a life either and stuff
but still, it isn't nice.
yeah, i mean one of my friends in primary schools dad was pretty old, like 50 odd and people were like OMG OLD at that. never mind, SEVENTY.
I bet channel 4 will do documentaries on this kid when it's in primary school
unless you're, say, china.
uhm, article says this country has an age limit of 50 for IVF? there's always going to places you can get anything if you're that determined i guess. i'm not sure you could criminalise it
if a woman gets IVF overseas, in somewhere with let's say a looser legal system of enforcement, and they come back here, whatcha gonna do?
when its like 14. Thats going to be awesome. All the chomps and wham bars you can eat.
got apple all over my screen now
That's extremely selish. Imagine the grief the poor kid is going to get when picked up from school by her.
Not to mention the fact that she'll probably die when it's a teenager or early twenties and that's hard enough to deal with when you're older than that as it is.
it's not a monster
if IT is going to have a parent who's selish enough to have a baby at the age of 67, chances are it will grow up to be a bloody monster! so ner and stuff.
it's completely not fair on the kid.
when you consider that the kids only other option is to never be born.
Its not like it will ever know that it wasn't born
if it is an egg in a womb...
8 months pregnant. bit more than an egg
i should have read the article
i was sort of presuming we were talking about anyone of that age considering having a baby...
children born to older women are more likely to have down's syndrome mental or physical defects. women are vilified for drinking and smoking during pregnancy, risking their childrens' lives, or being working mothers because they are not around enough. she isn't going to be around at all..because she is so old she is going to die soon.
it's so weird and wrong.
Thats if it makes it:
the baby of a 25 smoker and drinker is probably going to end up healthier.
generally on dis you'd expect to be a bit more graphic than a graph
"Ms Adeney said she felt as young as 39 at times"
Oh, as young as that? Oh that's alright then. I sometimes feel as old as 52, but then I think, Tom Hanks is 52 and he's alright, so it all turns out okay in the end.
