surely that is downright fraud?
But, if you're an MP it's just a 'misjudgement', hooray!
...the money was only resting in the account.
how can you mistakenly claim for a mortgage that doesn't exist?
Who is signing off these expense forms? I took a train to doncaster from sheffield last week, reckon I could get a couple of grand back for it.
Things like PFI, which Brown has relied upon extensively to hide the true amount of debt the country is in, consist of exactly the same kind of accountancy trickery that gets CEOs thrown in prison. The government has no real accountability to the electorate, or anyone else, when it comes to the economy. As long as it's floating along merrily people really don't seem to give enough of a shit to worry about how bent the system is; now we're all in a hole I'm sure Brown must be shitting himself that he's got off to relatively lightly for how much he's mismanaged the country's bank balance the past few years.
but before that, if people describe what a bad bunch of rulers we have (on the whole) that you tend to get castigated by a consensus of opinion.
The majority of the public are also involved in the cover up as they have continually aggreed to believe in their rulers, (despite there being sufficient evidence for some to detect their incompetance/general crapness) and when the 'some' try to get this across the 'majority' deride the 'some'.
PS I notice the govenor of the BOE is saying once again that 'the recession is perhaps worse than what he said before, when he said that it was probably worse than when he said before that it was worse than what he said it was before when he said that it was worse than what politicians said it was.............WELL I did point out from the beginning that it was Worse than anyone could (or would say) It was fairly obvious to anyone who takes a larger objective and rational view (from outside of being in the economic system, or needing it to continue existing within their current mindset)
However once again the majority will knock those who point out the rubbishness of those that they insist must be more competant than seemingly 'ordinary people' ....(by ordinary i mean people who are not empowered with executive power by the rulers that you all so admired.
At least I've never given my mandate to anyone or anything that im ashamed of, my soul is (relatively) pure
perhaps the inland revenue will allow people who make claims/declarations that are later found out to be 'bad' to say they have made a mistake?
Im not certain but i believe that they fine people for making fraudulant claims/declarations.
shouldnt this, at least, be something that would be applicable in this case?
saying sorry and giving it back isn't exactly what would happen is it?
And FWIW I think this the mortgage claim is a criminal offence..
*waves sheets of paper in the air.
I suspect it will not be refered to the CPS however, because they will excuse it as being a genuine mistake, that there was 'no criminal intent'
because our ruling masters are not criminals, you wouldnt have elected them if they were. Of course if an ordinary person had done such then it wouldnt have been a genuine innocent mistake it would undoubtedly be criminal intent, cos thats what they assume the general public to be.....they are probably quite frightened of us to be perfectly honest, especially with the possibility of societies breakdown looming
to satisfy public sentiment.
In addition to 'cleansing' mild scourging by the parties, it will be a consequence that those who have done the worst exceses will have naturally damaged their chances of getting powerful gov positions as the ywill always be subject to possible criticism on this matter
but on Radio4 they said he could still be very much charged with fraud
it would be cheaper to use mps that are trustworthy on these matters like John Mann, to decide on whether politicians should be able top claim for certain sorts of things.
like too much power for one man you commy
