how are you?
That pigeon's in a world of trouble...:(
or as they say in France, "fin"
the current physical and emotional state of most ATP Fans attendees quite well. I am not feeling too rough any more myself, thankfully.
I don't think I saw you after the Sun & Moon Friday, did you have a good festival? (Apologies if I did see you and can't remember it...)
apart from my sleeping patterns which are out of whack to say the least. Umm I think I did keep spotting you about. I got a bit overwhelmed by the DiSiness of it all, especially on sunday at Crazy Horse...you have fun?
I don't remember much about Sunday at Crazy Horse apart from dancing to AM 180 and Born To Run, but it was fun as. It was amazing how you couldn't walk 50 feet anywhere on the site without bumping into a DiS person!
if the interview goes poorly, just look them dead in the eye and say "Au join camel au fronge".
The look on their faces will be priceless.
I just had an ES exam, which isn't a real subject.
i'ma watch 24 and then go to bed
read your b'day pressie.
We had funtimes, yeah? Or was I too drunk and flakey?
was gonna trek down to south london to see Grails again, but I'm calling that off.
shit. Todd are supporting. Doors were at 8. I can get there in 20 minutes. It'll finish about 12. DO I DO IT?
I'll need the rest. TNV on thursday, and a mate's birthday outing tomorrow. Plus I need to save cash for my holiday, so I gotta get tough with these gigs. They were phenomenal at ATP, despite my rather lacklustre attention span.
instead of TNV, Marnie Stern and Ariel Pink on Saturday. AGHHHHHHHH BANKRUPT
he's pretentious bollocks. And not worth 40 quid to watch some guy playing a prepared piano.
you're wrong Philip dear.
I baulk at anything over £25.
Fucksake, Yo La Tengo at Royal Festival Hall only cost me £13.50.... And Ornette Coleman would only cost £25.
Philip Glass is not worth that much money. Ever.
I started reading it on the way back yesterday, but then I fell asleep (due to sleep deprivation-NOT because I find the book boring-in fact au contraire mon ami).
You weren't drunk enough. I want everyone at harru drunklevels next time. Still losing your voice?
also on saturday with the trolly hijacking we apparently managed to piss off ALOT of people. Why no Grails?
my life is now cold and grey
I've taken the day off tomorrow to paint some more. Tomorrow is the last day of painting. THANK THE SWEET LORD!
I said you're always painting.
My attempt at food shopping went horribly wrong - you wouldn't believe the rubbish i bought.
Oh, and I got woken up today by my folks dropping an amazon package that had just arrived on me as they left on their travels.
Sure you'll be fine in your French oral :) I remember in my 6th form my french teachers kept giving me visual clues to help jog my memory if they thought I was getting stuck. I.e. question: what did you do in your summer job?', when i ran out of things to say they made phone gestures, and mimed typing on the keyboard :D They were ace.
The image of my two usually very strict French teachers doing air-skiing is going to the grave with me - it was priceless.
But anyhow, I'm sure you'll be fine :) How's your plans for your year abroad going? Did you get that job you applied for?
it's still hell to organise and I'm fretting abit about going away for so long :(
exam tomorrow so i'm reading a load of stuff.
I'm poorly sick :(
i think some of my flat mates are suffering from procrastination. i've been away for a night and, having come home, i've found Wee Chimp beaten up and a whole load of threatening messages around my room:
