Mine's probably Arrested Development.
Also, I just lost the game.
Close behind are Twin Peaks and Six Feet Under.
Oh and Neighbours.
I'm also a little bit in love with Michael.
I like Buster best
OR St Elsewhere.
but less surreal and slightly more sexist.
They watch(ed) everything mentioned in this thread including neighbours at one point.
mainly comedy based...
Curb Your Enthusiasm probably... Flight Of The Conchords.
The Apprentice gets me everytime.
so i'm going for Firefly
but as a complete series i think The Shield just nudges it over The Wire, as The Wire dipped in quality in its final season where as The Shield continued to get better and better as it went along which is a rarity especially considering it went for 7 seasons.
If lost's final season is amazing then it will be my favourite easily.
literally not a dud second in any of the episodes. Massively re-watchable. Just perfection.
But now, probably Big Cook Little Cook.
Definitely a program for adults.
but it is probably really hollyoaks
the extended fight scene, that chump from mcfly giving justin sage like advice
than of people I actually knew at the same time
when I had e4 and e4+1 I could easily watch the same episodes 4 times a day, it doesn't seem to get much credit for actually being pretty funny, especially the latter series
I've seen every episode at least 10 times but I still always watch them on E4 if nothing else is on. I actually had to record the one the other day where Rachel puts beef in the trifle.
Do you think E4 will ever stop showing Friends on a loop?
you don't even have to listen to the dialogue, because it tells you when something is funny xD
followed by south park
Just because I was completely obsessed with it between about the ages of 5 and 14 (even though I was too young to see anything but the last couple of McCoy seasons on television) and then since it's come back it has been all kinds of brilliant. I bloody love Doctor Who.
Also, Lost and The League Of Gentlemen would be up there for me, possibly soon to be followed by The Wire.
honourable mentions to Doctor Who, The Wire, Thomas the Tank Engine, The Thick of It.
twin peaks, nypd blue, x files, hitchhiker's guide... :) 30 rock is brilliant, thumbs up to who ever recommended that. :D
4) Anything by David Attenborough
5) The Larry Sanders show
How Do You Want Me? (very sad re Charlotte Coleman)
Our Friends in the North (gritty)
As a child there was nothing better than sitting watching either programme on a Saturday night with crisps and pop!
Spaced is consistently the best thing ever!
It was awesome...
Honorable mention to The Wire (just finished season 2) which is proving a bit good!
I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH
although i always enjoy a return to spaced, peep show, dexter or the blue planet / planet earth / pretty much anything bbc + attenborough
followed closely by the wire and pro stars
and fuck, i just lost the game
I used to like House but the new series has put me off
nothing will ever top it.
although I only really enjoy late night music shows and watching music videos
i used to use the name 'captain wow!' on another forum! when i saw your name i thought it might have been me from the past, posting here. but then surely i would have remembered that? and also i don't like star trek. so it's probably some sort of coincidence.
I saw someone called 'agreatusername' on a forum, he should be mates with guywithnousername
especially the next generation
yay username fun! haha i like that whenever i see 'missbass' posting on here i pronounce 'bass' like the fish. and i think of a sexy woman's body in a slinky red dress but with a big dead-eyed gaping-mouth fish head coming out of the top :D
also hmm, my dad only made me watch star trek TNG, perhaps i should seek out original shatner star treks! woo a new project that i won't follow through with! xD
freaks and geeks
or mad men
It looks like exactly the kind of thing I'd love.
I've been a total Who geek since I was about 6 so I will always be a huge fan of it but Six Feet Under is probably the most perfect television series ever made.
