spelling the word "of" as "ov"
could of instead of could have ?
you know you can actually write that in a GCSE english exam and it won't even really effect your mark as long as you get a sense of the correct answer across and remember to write to not 2
I said "could've" but he heard "could of" and shook his head, interrupted my jolly little anecdottie to his family to say "could have Hayley, it's....could have".
Anyway, I won't regale you with the details but he refused to accept that I'd abbreviated it to "could've" even after he realised he was being a big fucking idiothole for correcting me in front of everyone anyway.
I hate bad grammar, but jumping in to correct it (unnecessarily so, or not) is just a bit twat like (as much as I want to do it myself, and do so under my breath. Twat.).
