I've just realised I finish my first year at uni in about 3 weeks. Pretty scary prospect. It's been really good though. Really good.
You basically no longer have to hang around with people you don't like, as in school. You can tell them all anyway cos they have ugg boots or something. Easy peasy.
I've met loads of people, there's a pub round the corner which sells green (fairy liquid green) beer, my flat for next year has a makeshift balcony and it's going to be great. I'll be leaving this squalor to live with people I actually wanted to. I'm finally finding my footing RE: academic aspect. It's all good. As the saying goes "Pass out at 3, get up at 10, go out to eat and do it again".
Anyway, how were your first years at uni, be they just finishing or long gone? How was your academic year anyway regardless of what you did fucksake?
