as i mentioned the other day i am working on doing a compilation download/cd of hardcore bands covering post punk classics. im trying to make a list of bands that absolutely 100% must be covered for it to be any good.

so far i have

siouxsie and the banshees
devo
the fall
gang of four
orange juice
joy division
new order
Magazine
the slits
echo and the bunnymen

and might extend it to include the smiths

who else do i need would you reckon?
