Stunning. Visually and narratively. Full of woozy gaps...but a successful device that added to the discord within the plot structure and the observable muddied landscape.
While most stems seemed to have been tied, I'm still a little unclear on the significance of the police raid in the Karachi Club (episode 2, 1980)...and was Considines character shot for knowing too much?...and what exactly had he caught wind of?
P.s. Special kudos to David Morrissey and Peter Mullan.
