and then just chucked your drink-soaked, mud-laden clothes all over your living room floor when you got home?
"just the eight pints for me last night, then"
unlikely to have many friends.
but not altogether great night.
i don't agree with you. i love myself
so called people.
Pathetic x 1000.
I say that and i think you are likely referring to me? why get annoyed about what other people say and do? it really bothers me that people judge in this way.
PEOPLE WHO SAY 'THE' ARE WANKERS!
there's far too much of this judging people by the words they use type crap on here.
Get yourself out at the weekend and have a good MESSY night. they are the best ones. If you havent experienced one im not suprised you dont get the meaning.
raging - characterized by violent and forceful activity or movement; very intense; "the fighting became hot and heavy"; "a hot engagement"; "a raging battle"; "the river became a raging torrent"
ragedout, raged-fever etc etc
but you said 'ragin'? anyway, i don't see any evidence of heartbeeps becoming violent because more people didn't agree with him.
(For people that are so far detached from football to know what I'm talking about, Lionel Messi is currently the worlds greatest footballer)
are you ridiculing my little explanation?
it's one of those things that's so clearly true it may as well be FACT.
wow, that's some talent you've got there.
on the internetz.
right ok. bye x
I don't understand how my posts seem so serious, when compared to everyone elses. What am I doing wrong? I just discuss things like everyone else does, most of the time.
dont do it!! stay calm!!
but I don't go out of my way to not sound silly. I don't use it very often, but I've found that it's generally appreciated amongst other football fans.
It's only fair that we capitalise this word to emphasise what an astonishing piece of wit it is.
Its not my favourite word, but it describes some of my nights out fairly well.
when you look around a room and everyone is completely hammered is it seen as a messy night. Or if anight goes on so long that your clothes are stinking and nobody knows when to stop drinking and carrying on. = messy.
The word fits, i can't see why its annoying.
because the messier the place is, the better it was. duh?
although it's less annoying than "random".
And people saying anyone who thinks this will have no friends: surely it just means they have no annoying friends? Or are friends with people who don't use those words.
and shows such a low level of tollerance towards other people. People that say messy aren't doing anything wrong, but you'd think it was something morally questionable, the way you and heartbeeps hate it.
and also the opportunity to win prizes
who refers to getting drunk as getting 'stapped in'
I come back online to find people getting angry about the thought of me getting angry about people using the word 'messy'.
Also, who is MissBass? She asks "I say that and i think you are likely referring to me?" though I've actually never heard of her.
how exciting! You have a secret antagonist.
I love how it's suddenly judegmental if it's against something 'beloved' on DIS and not judgemental otherwise.
Infact I would go as far to say people who begin stories with "I was sooo wasted " = vile
I just can't stand how judgemental people on this site can be. Maybe it's the indie way of thinking, maybe I should expect this, but it still gets on my nerves to this day.
then how else can you judge them.
of course you judge people on what they say and do, but using "messy" to describe a night out, or someone saying they were "sooo wasted" really aren't that important. It doesn't tell us anythinga about their personality and it's unfair to juge people by things like this.
But I agree its all about context. If people went around using "sooo wasted" or "messy" in a serious tone, I would probably judge them a little. I tend to say both phrases but with a healthy does of pretencious irony.
For example, I've said things that could be perceived as very racist, but I only say them in a joking way around people that know I'm not actually racist. Having said this, I still don't think there's anything wrong with saying either of those phrases in a serious tone, their behaviour would tell me more about them. If someone said they were "sooo wasted" as a boast, then I'd mark them down a few points, but it can also be said in a less than boastful manner without irony and be ok.
OMG i was SOOOO WASTED on friday night. we stayed up ALL NIGHT LONG
it would be fine. if he said it seriously he deserves a slap.
We went to a massive party on Saturday night and i drank like LOADS OF RAW WHISKEY. then i took off my trousers and mooned my arse. OMG it was so funny. all my mates think im just like MENTAL! We got like VIP to all the clubs and it was like TOTALLY AMAZING.
BOKE!!! every Monday morning i have to listen to this.
then that guy does sound like a massive twat.
He is pure posh too, talks like he has marbles in his mouth.
he is really 'mad' so he is (bluurgheueueue)
When i started in here a girl told me on the first day that she is 'a real party animal' <<<--- she doesnt even drink or go out, salsa once a week!! WTF?!?!?!
People are mad in here.
people aren't "mad" at all, they're trying to appear "mad".
I thought it was a cloaked confession.
would they translate well to the interweb?
although nothing I say translates well on the internet.
because I spent it watching come dine with me, sipping on tea and having hobnobs.... though I spilt some crumbs on the floor, should I be slapped?
It describes some nights well though, disorderly, sticky, smelly
U come out of it worse for ware and 'messy' but I usualy use it when I havent had a great time but have been fucked.
Tidy sir she has some legs on her hi, tiiiidy!
The clowns of the class system
I BET YOU HAVE NO MATESZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
my ex girlfriend used to say it all the time, probably still does, and she was a cunt.
especially when its just to describe drinking a fair amount, every time someone goes out.
its just like all words that get overused though. they arent really annoying til every cunt starts using it.
they use any excuse to do so
ive never heard this phrase, but i imagine its used by the same people who use the word lush.
