My cousin has just had a baby. She decided she wanted myself or my brother to be a godfather, so she flipped a coin, and my brother won (I'll get my turn for the next kid, and believe me, she will end up with more). And now we're invited to the christening next weekend.
Thing is, I'm an atheist, but more importantly I'm pretty dead set against baptising children (it both doesn't make any sense nor is it particularly moral, really). I don't actually like the idea of endorsing a religious system I'm not a part of. But at the same time it would be INCREDIBLY rude to turn this down.
What would you do?
