But I ain't spilling.
I wonder what the process is like? Sure it's amusing to think of a bunch of men carrying a straight jacket but I'm sure it's not REALLY like that. Or is it? I hope not.
He used to turn up at job interviews wearing cardboard shoes and a cardboard tie
We've talked about this over and over, mainly during his last 'high' which went on for a whole month. He was fairly well traumatised by the experience, and goes into a cold sweat when he discusses it. He is terrified of it happening again.
That's not very good :(
- but in fact the drugs do work eventually, you just have to be very patient and supportive
- it is very intense
- his poor wife was exhausted, so I volunteered to have him to stay for a week, he came down during that week, and for a brief period he was the happy, considerate, intelligent and charming person he used to be (like 25 years ago)
- unfortunately the drugs then coshed him into subdued introspection
- he's doing OK at present though
