Had a big argument after pubtime with somebody about this last night.

His point: "I don't bother voting, they are all lying bastards, all full of shite, both puppets controlled by the same guy. my vote is cast by not voting."

My point: "A wasted vote is a vote for the Tories, yes they are both bad to an extent, but there is a lesser of the two evils."

from which he could only reply with his idea of me "being stupid" for "believing the system" etc, for his part effectively denying that the politics of these two parties affects society and the class system.
